1. Kensington Palace Easter Bunny Hunt
If you’re looking for an Easter egg hunt for London 2022, join in the Lindt Gold Bunny Hunt at Kensington Palace this Easter.
The hunt is designed for children aged 4-12 years old and their families. Use the trail map to explore the palace and gardens and find the Lindt Gold Bunny statues that are hiding there. With each bunny you find, a story will be revealed about a palace character. When you’ve finished, you’ll receive a Lindt bunny.
The price of the bunny hunt is included in the admission price to Kensington Palace.
The bunny hunt will take place on 2nd, 3rd, 6th–10th, 13th–17th April 2022, from 10.00-18.00.
2. Biscuiteers Icing Classes
Throughout Easter half term, Biscuiteers will be hosting children’s icing classes and Easter Egg hunts in their Belgravia and Notting Hill icing cafes. Participants will receive a tutorial from one of the in-store expert icers, a complimentary drink, an Easter egg hunt in-store, and they will get to take home their biscuits in a gift box.
Classes will be hosted on Thursday 7th April 2022 and 5 other dates from 15:00-16:00. Tickets start at £30.
3. Horniman Museum Spring Fair
Head over to the Horniman Museum on 16th April for their Spring Fair. Adult admission is £5 and children enter for free.
The Horniman Museum and Gardens are hosting a lovely spring fair on 16th April. Don your homemade hats and participate in the Easter Bonnet parade and competition. There is also lots of fun to be had for everyone, such as performances from the young drummers of South London Samba, veggie cooking demos, garden trails, arts and crafts, and live music by the Alvar Tree Frogs, a New Orleans jazz band.
4. Brigit’s Bakery Easter Afternoon Tea Bus Tour
The bus departs from Trafalgar Square, or Victoria Coach Station, and the duration of the tour is approximately 90 minutes. While you enjoy your afternoon tea, you can also enjoy the London sights of Big Ben, The Houses of Parliament, Westminster Abbey, St James’s Park, Hyde Park, The Royal Albert Hall, Marble Arch, Nelson’s Column, Downing Street and more.
Child tickets cost £35 and adult tickets cost £45.
5. The Very Hungry Caterpillar Trail at Kew Gardens
If you have young children, The Very Hungry Caterpillar Trail at Kew Gardens is the perfect activity this Easter.
Children can go on a transformational journey to becoming a beautiful butterfly, based on the famous book, and wind through sculptures of fruits and a chrysalis along the way. They can also enjoy springtime plants such as tulips, bluebells, magnolias, and cherry blossoms all bursting to life.
The trail is free with admission to the gardens. The trail will be available to visit from 2nd to 18th April 2022 from 10am to 4.30pm.
6. Fabergé in London Exhibit at the V&A
Prefer jewel-encrusted eggs to chocolate ones? Feast your eyes upon Fabergé eggs at the V&A this Easter.
This Fabergé in London Exhibit at the Victoria and Albert Museum explores master goldsmith, Carl Fabergé – and the rise and fall of his London outpost, which opened in 1903.
7. Family Easter Chocolate Workshop at Chelsea Physic Garden
The Chelsea Physic Garden is hosting an Easter-themed Chocolate Workshop. Families not only get to design their own chocolate treats with a provided selection of herbs, flavourings, and spices, but learn how cacao beans grow.
This workshop is designed for children ages 5 and up. One person will be admitted per ticket and each participant will make a selection of chocolate treats. Children must hold tickets and be accompanied by at least one ticket-holding adult.
The event will be held from Thursday 7th April, 11am-1pm and tickets cost £20.
8. Easter Trail at Chelsea Physic Garden
Spend time with your family this Easter on the picturesque trail at the 4-acre Chelsea Physic Garden. On this scenic trail, you can see a beautiful variety of plants, and at the end, each trail entry will receive a chocolate treat or prize. All ages are welcome, but the trail was designed with children in mind.
The trail will be held on Easter Monday, 18th April 2022, 11am, and the last time slot for Easter Trail is 3pm. Tickets for the trail cost £5 but normal admission still applies.
9. The Passion of Jesus at Trafalgar Square
The Wintershall Players return with their huge open-air re-enactment of ‘The Passion of Jesus’, with a cast of over 100 on 15th April 2022. Audiences can once again see a re-enactment of the events of Good Friday for free at Trafalgar Square, after a two-year-long hiatus of the production.
10. Sunday Roast at Kerridge’s Bar & Grill
If you want to eat a traditional Sunday lunch this Easter, but would prefer something more upscale for the special occasion, look no further than Kerridge’s Bar and Grill at Corinthia Hotel London. Tom Kerridge is renowned for the food at his Buckinghamshire pubs, so it’s not surprising that his Sunday roasts are superior.
At this luxurious restaurant, you can enjoy comfort food in an elegant environment, from a menu designed by a Michelin-starred chef.
