The City of Bristol is famous for many things – it has a long history as a port (at one time it was one of the most prosperous cities in the UK) and as a centre for innovation – it even has its own currency – the Bristol Pound.
In more recent times, this beautiful city has modernised, yet still remains a place of development and innovation. It is now renowned for its electronics industry, aerospace industry and for being one of the UK’s leading centres for creative media.
It’s no surprise, therefore, that there is so much video talent to be found here as well.

Bio:
When I was 10, I was lucky enough to find my passion for making videos with my mum’s Walkman, and I was even luckier to have now made it my career. Working my way through various free jobs, apprenticeships, and workshops I was able to leave my full-time employment 2 years ago to make the dream real by becoming self-employed.

Rich Davies – Wild Rice Films
Bio:
I am a self-shooting director, drone pilot, and editor working in both commercial and broadcast production. With over a decade of experience creating films for many clients, I have developed an ability to get the most out of the contributors I work with. Putting people at ease and drawing the most out of them in the interview (even if they are very inexperienced in being filmed) is one of my strong suits.
I have a visually cinematic style of shooting that feels authentic and honest. This style works perfectly for compellingly communicating each unique story. I have a wealth of experience creating films for businesses, organisations, and tourism boards. I can work quickly, efficiently, and adapt to the moment, all whilst maintaining a high production value.
As well as directing and camera operating I am also a CAA qualified drone pilot and can bring these skills to bear on the project, adding yet more production value to the films. In the past 10 years, I have produced films for a wide variety of clients in the tourism sector such as Explore Western Australia, Go Dominican Republic, Discover Northern Ireland, and Go Visit Donegal. The ‘Explore Western Australia’ campaign that I directed and shot won best campaign 2019 at the world travel awards last year. This depth of experience means I am perfectly placed to spearhead any project.
