Fastest Marathon Dressed As a Camera

As one of the leading photography and videography companies in the UK, Splento works with many amazing charities on a regular basis: Bloodwise, Photovoice, Pancreatic Cancer UK, Paul Brame Foundation, Gift of Life, Charity: Water, British Heart Foundation, Guide Dogs, Hospice Angelus.

We have been looking for a way to thank them, help them raise more money and of course raise awareness about all the great causes they support.

Such an opportunity presented itself last year, when our CEO, Roman Grigoriev, got a place to run the London Marathon. Setting up a fundraising page is a good start, but we wanted to do something special.

Bearing in mind that we deliver edited photos to our clients on average within 21 hours (500+ TrustPilot ratings will attest to it), setting a Guinness World Record as the Fastest Camera to run a Marathon idea naturally popped into our heads.

Off we went to build this massive costume, which should have enough space to fit the logos of the charities we support and it’s finally ready.

Roman went for a maiden run on 7 April 2019. Looking good!
